Farley Steals the Airwaves! Or, Um, Basic Cable Waves…

Steve FarleySteve Farley reports that he will be debating Pat Buchanan (of all people) at 10:30 AM local time on MSNBC. Farley says that he has been assured that Buchanan is the most gracious of hosts, but we’ll see if he can snag a coffee mug like he can from Bill Buckmaster.

The topic will be on Russell Pearce’s employer sanctions bill, which means that Farley will not be using the phrases “Carbon Neutral” or “Light Rail.” I’m sure this will hurt him deeply.

I deleted the email, but I thought it said that Farley was debating Pearce, with Buchanan graciously “hosting”.

  • You might not know it to see him on television, but Pat Buchanan is an utterly charming man, and even those who are often repulsed by his political and social views can find him to be delightful on a personal level. Seems unlikely, but I swear it’s true.

  • MSNBC isn’t a basic cable option for those of us in Cox land.

  • …and like a good puppet of the AZDEM he got in his jabs on Iraq, when the issue was immigration.

  • Hey, why not stray from the topic? That falls under turnabout is fair play. After all, the retarded nativists on the right manage to work illegal immigration into every topic, from healthcare to the loss of the Sidewinders. I pity the fool who thinks illegal immigrants are the perfect scapegoat for all our problems.
