Our state’s long nightmare is over…Steve Farley is wearing proper pants again.
For those who don’t know, Farley waged a sort of one man protest against house leadership by wearing jeans until the senate budget was considered. Well, Farley announced in an e-mail to supporters that after house approval of a budget compromise yesterday, he will be wearing slacks.
Hmm…I suppose it gets the point across, but I dunno…I find it a bit weak. I mean, Steve wears jeans all of the time. It would be a little like John Nelson threatening to wear white shoes. Or me saying, “do what I say or I’ll wear a Revolution jersey.” Or, even better, Ed Ableser threatening to use mousse.
It’s his first session, I’ll cut him a break.
NB - Session is expected to Sine Die tonight.

Hey, I have heard that you actually have worn a regular shirt once or twice. I think I even have a shot of it.
