New Bill Richardson Ads
These are two of the ads that Bill Richardson is running in Iowa, “Job Interview” and “Tell Me.” Not knock down funny, but they do cleverly present Richardson’s impressive resume. Message: Pay attention to me, I’m qualified!

Since when do qualifications matter?

Great ads. For sure the best yet from the candidates. NM Gov. Bill Richardson is the most qualified, and has my support at this time.
Arizona Dems should support Richardson because as a SW governor he can win, and would be good for our region as President.
AZ leaders may want to move our primary to the same day as Nevada, to rightfully increase our growing state’s influence on the nominations.

Well, he has been making some moves upward. The last CNN poll had him at 5%, more than Dodd and Biden combined (each of them had 2%)– the two guys he had previously been lumped with. It may be a slow rise, but it is a steady rise and there is still plenty of time. Likely Edwards and Obama have maxed out (people know them by now, and they are starting to fade in the polls) and Clinton is still not the choice of a majority of Democrats. Richardson is ideally positioned for a darkhorse run, and his campaign staff by launching the ads now seem to recognize the time is right.
Keep in mind that last week’s Kentucky derby winner came from ninth place to win the race (no, I’m not picking Mike Gravel).
