Oh, Yeah, and Daniel…

Over at Sonoran Alliance, they claim that I am so fixated with Jack Harper that I haven’t written that Daniel Patterson isn’t running for Mayor after all. It’s not that I’m fixated, the guy has given me a wealth of material. It’s not my fault the guy has developed legislative rabies.
But, you’re right about one thing fellas, I didn’t write about Patterson deciding not to run. Actually, the boys at Sonoran Alliance are “right” about just about everything.
As soon as I come up with a witty excuse, I’ll write one up.
Patterson has an interesting write up with his suggestion for a state quarter. I may have my own suggestions soon.

Thanks for the link to my site, but there is a typo and it doesn’t work.
No good rumors that I know of.

Bummer…looking embarassing here on the lack of candidates for Walkup. Not you Daniel, and you will get a $5 check from me when the Clean Elections come around.
So what is scaring everyone off then? Let’s discuss.
Is it that Leal kept his name out too long for others to jump in? If it is, then this a is a major blunder in candidate recruitment.
Is Walkup just too popular to beat? Period. Has the fact that he draws Republicans and Dems just scared everyone off?
Is it that Walkup is only one R on the whole councial and that the costs of winning this seat are not worth the benefits when you can work to control the whole council?
Still, Dems have been really doing well in local elections as of late. I would have thought that if they are running two to three candidates city wide for council that one more for mayor wouldnt hurt.
