Pullen Pulls More “Facts” From His Posterior
Since the new regime has taken over the state Republican Party, Randy Pullen and Brett Mecum have put out several doozies of press releases. One may remember that Pullen had a finger wagging release that warned Janet Napolitano not to support a funding cut for the troops, even though she had already come out against it. Then there was the press release last week claiming that Gabrielle Giffords had voted for “the largest tax increase in history.” (Of course, they all are) As the Tucson Weekly has pointed out, Pullen and Mecum got neither the calendar or numbers correct on the release.
Pullen’s latest screed is joining the hypocritical chorus of Republicans slamming Nancy Pelosi for visiting with Bashir al-Assad. Never mind that two Republican congressmen have also paid visits to Assad and that the Israelis (one of the few allies we have left) used her to conduct their own diplomacy. Oh, and it’s Giffords and Harry Mitchell’s fault. Yeah, and they raised gas prices too.
I didn’t say it made any sense.

Pullen can take his shots, but the new Congress is getting things done, which contrasts sharply with the old one.
and, BTW, don’t forget to check out the current standings in your Fantasy Congress league if you need any verification of that.
