Illegal Entrants Can Have It Their Way

A friend of mine who is active with the Samaritan Patrols attended a meeting with the Border Patrol. Someone asked about the buses that transport the detained aliens, and asked if they were given water on the buses, since these guys have just been wandering the desert. They were told that there was no water or food available on the buses, contracted from Wackenhut. But, the detainees are transported to another government contractor for food and drink: Burger King.
Burger King, an official government contractor.

So, next time you feel like having a double-whopper with cheese, on the house, just take a stroll across the border, making sure you get caught by the Border Patrol.
This is the perfect solution for those starving college students who have tired themselves of ramen.

Can I sneak across to Mexico and get a burger with fries?
Seriously though, I’ve got to pay for my burger and fries. That’s crazy. I’m all for giving them water and such but contracting with Burger King seems a bit much.

There are several takes on this whole thing, on the one hand, it should not be shocking to find sucha service out-sourced by the feds…. look at how much is outsourced in Iraq! (wonder hhat the real cost of that whopper meal is, probably $10+ bucks each)
On the other, if you saw Iraq for Sale, you know that it may actually be safer and cheaper to feed them burgers than give them the contaminated water like our soldiers were given. $10 bucks vs $10K hospital bill for dysentary…

O-kay…I thought one of you would notice that the government isn’t providing any water to these folks when they load them on the busses. But hey, what do they need it for, right?
