Some of the students I work with have, well, a history with our justice system. Inevitably, they are always blameless for their arrests, or, they were arrested because the victim “snitched.” I don’t know why it counts as snitching when it’s the victim, but that’s how it goes.
Republican lobbyist, strategist and svengali Grover Norquist, from an article in the Financial Times:
Bob Sherwood’s [he means Don Sherwood] seat [in Pennsylvania] would have been overwhelmingly ours, if his mistress hadn’t whined about being throttled.
