It’s Like Those Guys That Complain They Can Do a Lay Up If They Just Had Better Shoes
Over at Espresso Pundit, Greg Patterson has revealed a dirty trick that shows what a low down dirty trickster Janet Napolitano really is. She is just like Aleksandr Lukashenko or Charles Taylor, manipulating the institutions of Democracy to keep her hold on absolute power.
What did this authoritarian, this dictator, this malevolent pox on Arizona’s Democracy do this time?
He’s alleging that somehow, Napolitano or her supporters engaged in a dirty trick by, wait for it…
…listing Len Munsil last in the Clean Elections pamphlet.
Oh! It is all over for Mr. Munsil! The poor guy can’t come back from that one! That Napolitano, will this madness ever end? Who will put a stop to this sort of facsism and bring freedom back to us Arizonans?
I’m sorry. I don’t know what came over me there.
I’m willing to give Patterson a break on this one and chalk up his rant on this rather minor outrage, if it is even that, to something like lack of sleep (all that caffeine, ya know) or maybe that bad spinach that is going around.
Patterson seems to imply that Clean Elections director Todd Lang engaged in this manipulation to help the governor. I have no idea about Lang’s politics, except that his position as director is at the whim of a committee composed of people of both parties and that his biography page includes a quote from Barry Goldwater. When I went up for a Clean Elections training session (lot of good that did me…), the staffer that led it had previously worked for Jon Kyl.
I don’t like to give advice to Republicans, but if Munsil’s campaign plan counts on a certain layout in the Clean Elections pamphlet, they may want to go back and revisit that plan.

Funny, in reading the same piece, it did not seem that EP’s problem was that Munsil was listed last, but rather, that someone we’ve never heard of was inserted which resulted in Munsil being moved to the next page.

Ya think maybe Lenny will go whining to the commission for more money for this grevious transgression?
