SEIU Hiring Organizers
The SEIU, which has been kicking major tail, is hiring organizers for an effort called Mi Familia Vota, an effort to harness the energy of the immigrant marches and turn it into results in November.
They will be holding a “Recruitment Fair” on Thursday the 6th at 10:00 AM in Phoenix at 3007 N. 7th St., Suite 100. The project starts on the 10th and goes through the November election. The pay is $26,780/yr, and could lead to a longer term position in the SEIU or its affiliates. Job locations are in Maricopa, Pima, Yuma and Pinal counties. They require a reliable car, dirver’s license and insurance. They also require English language proficiency as well as an ability to communicate in Spanish.
