He is the scariest one out of all of them. The others in east mesa are at least willing to compromise on some issue. Take Farnsworth. He is sponsering almost 12 of the six identity theft bills that are being pushed by the Attorney General. They’ve done press conferences on the subjects as well. Russell Pearce is just uncompromising and unwilling to work with Democrats on ANY issue. Gary Pierce and Chuck Grey are also big proponents of the AG’s identity theft legislation. This should be a no brainer- fighting against ID theft but people like Russell just don’t get it.
I find it fascinating in a rubber-necking-the-horrible-traffic-accident-sort-of way.
I’m curious to see how the anti-immigrant extremists (Goldwater) v. the anti-abortion & gay marriage extremists (Munsil) will play out in the Republican primary.
